Staycation for your pup!
Pet care experience
Have raised cats, dogs, Guinea pigs, rabbits, etc. since I was a kid. Currently have two goofball Dobies and a little Chi-Pom (plus a lazy cat). For just 1 night or 2+ weeks, all of our friends look to me first to watch their dogs in our home before asking anyone else. I meet each dog where they are at, letting the chill ones have their own space separate from the rest of the pack, and the bouncy ones run wild within my 6’ tall fenced backyard. So as much or as little socializing as your dog would like is available!

Pat has been such a great sitter for us for years. Anytime we go out of town, or are away for a long shift at work, he is more than happy to watch our doggo and makes sure he has the BEST time. Our dog is older, very chill and unbothered, and his dogs respect his space and desire for quiet. Pat even let’s him sleep in the bedroom at night so he doesn’t get lonely! We call his house the “Mount Alifan Dog Park”, since so many dogs have called it their second home.

My backyard and side yard are secured, with 6-7’ fence surrounding. I have multiple outdoor cameras to monitor the back and side yards. Waste is picked up frequently through the day? And the artificial turf is cleaned regularly with a pet-safe enzyme product. I can also portion off sections of the yard if your pup wants to be out and about, but not necessarily interacting with my dogs. All 3 of my dogs are fully vaccinated, and used to visitors. If necessary, zero-contact with my dogs can be accommodated. Your pup’s safety and enjoyment are my top priory.

A typical day
Lots of playtime in the backyard, with a solid 3:1 toy to dog ratio! Tug of war, tossing rubber tennis balls, fetch, etc. Or just a nice time laying in the sun chewing a bone.

I work from home full time M-F, so have plenty of opportunities to interact with your pup, and let them outside as frequently as needed morning to night.
