Pet care experience
I have owned or looked after dogs for most of my life, including a few seniors with special health care requirements. Working for Rover is my first step towards my dream of someday owning my own boarding kennel.

Patrick took great care of Gigi! You can tell how much he loves animals and we know she was in great hands while we were on vacation!
Patrick has been awesome with Javy. He has a great setting down there with plenty play space to let them run some. We will use him again.

I live alone in a 2-bedroom cottage, so depending on your dog's level of comfort, a separate living area is available. Multiple walks per day around a lovely property and/or on a quiet country road are also standard.

My home is one-story with no stairs, so it's well-suited for senior dogs with mobility issues. I live just off of Hwy 218, so in the event of a medical emergency, I'll be able to get your dog to the proper vet relatively quickly. Please provide details on your pet's vaccination status (rabies, Bordetella, and distemper). I also highly recommend that they be on some form of flea & tick prevention, as we do live in the country.
A typical day
We live on a wooded property and can go on frequent walks. For off-leash fun, we go to the dog park in Waverly. We also like walking around Big Woods Lake in the evenings.
