Pet care experience
I have had pets since I was a kid and it taught me how to be a compassionate person and how to care for others. Nothing beats the feeling of coming home to a happy dog wagging its tail in excitement to see you. I always want to give my pets the same happiness and comfort that they bring me. People who have never had a dog before usually don't understand the bond that exists between an owner and their dog companion. I try to describe it as considering them like family like a brother, sister, or even a child. Caring for a dog is a rewarding responsibility. I have experienced so many happy memories with my dogs, but sad ones too. Saying goodbye to a dog whom I considered a best friend is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. However, I was lucky to have dogs that lived long lives and to have spent so much time with them. No matter how busy my day has been, I always enjoy coming home to play with my dog and cuddle with it at the end of the day. I have a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary & Biomedical Sciences. At one time, I aspired to purse a career as a veterinarian. After my mom passed away from a long battle with breast cancer, I became motivated to find cures for cancer and I am pursuing a career in this field of cancer research. My family is the most important thing in my life and I feel blessed to consider my pets to be a part of that family.

Pat is an extremely reliable and thorough caregiver! Over our 7 years of friendship I’ve come to understand just how important animals, especially dogs, are to him. Pat has had dogs his whole life and his newest pup, Karma is the most well-behaved and sociable doggie I have ever met!! He’s an amazingly kind and communicative person and I have no doubt in my mind that he will treat someone else’s fur-baby just as well as he treats his Karma.
I've known Pat since 2004 and since then he has always had a dog for which he cared for very much. He is an excellent care giver, he is patient and he is kind. He will never lose his temper with an animal and will always remain cool, calm and collect. He has met my dog on numerous occasions and she always delights in being around him, her tail never stops wagging. He is one of the most responsible people I know not only with animals but in general. He always strives to give 100% into whatever he is does and it shows through with his current dog Karma. She is very well trained and behaved, no doubt from the love and care Pat shows her. He is an excellent candidate for a dog sitting position, I personally wouldn't hesitate for a second leaving my dog in Pat's capable hands.
Patrick is a reliable and experienced caretaker of animals. He has had experience with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters and rabbits. He is very knowledgeable on the techniques of training dogs too. He has lived with the lifestyle of having a dog his whole life. He is responsible and punctual. He is a very friendly man that will try his best to accommodate each individual client and their dog to the best of his ability. He also has a lot of positive energy and is absolutely brilliant!
