Pet care experience
I come from a dog family. We consistently had three or more dogs in the house, depending on who was visiting. My first job was taking care of dogs at a boarding facility. I learned how to handle gentle dogs, aggressive dogs, and everything in between. I also learned why at-home care really is the best for our pets that we love. I have 4 years of volunteer experience at PAWS Humane, and am usually the go-to dog sitter for friends and family.

Patrick was awesome!! We had to go out of town for an emergency on short notice and Patrick made time for us in his schedule and then stayed an extra day when our vehicle broke down. He sent pics of the dogs and made me feel comfortable away because I knew they were in good hands!!
Patrick was fantastic! He was very flexible and helped me during a family emergency. He was wonderful with communication and my German Shepherd really liked him! I will definitely be using him again in the future and highly recommend him!
Our dogs where happy and healthy went we returned home thanks to Patrick! We will definitely continue to use his services in the future.

My top priority is for your pet to be comfortable while you are away. I stick to whatever instructions are given to me and try my best to maintain whatever routine your pet is used to. I have experience administering medicine and take the well-being of all animals very seriously. I currently live in an apartment complex that is both dog and cat friendly. I live by myself and have over 1000 square feet to share. I allow animals on the furniture and try to make sure that they are comfortable. There are two dog parks in the complex that are kept clean; I am more than happy to take your dog to these upon request. The Columbus Riverwalk is a short distance away for walks as well.

A typical day
I love to get out on walks with dogs! My favorite place to walk is the Columbus Riverwalk. I also love playing tug and fetch with dogs (even if they don't always know how to bring it back). I enjoy watching dogs have fun and giving them the opportunity to do so.

Availability
I am currently a graduate student. Aside from my evening classes, I have a lot of flexibility in when and where I offer my services. Whenever a friend or family member needs a sitter, I am the first person they call. It is something I like to do so that I can support myself, enjoy time with animals, and help people feel secure that their pets are receiving the best care. And having an animal study buddy is always a plus!
