I grew up with large dogs (Bernese and Leonberger). Around 9 I started working with a recreational dog sled team where people brought their own dogs for socialization and exercise. I have had dogs all my life and have done dog sitting and helped friends train their dogs throughout my life. I have a personal preference for larger dogs (80 pounds or more) but I have some experience working with smaller dogs as well. We do have one permanent dog on the property that is a younger Siberian Husky. I have always crate trained my dogs but I have lived with dogs that were not crate-trained. I am flexible with the needs of other peoples dogs despite whatever rules I may have for my own animals.
