Pet care experience
I am a friendly, loving, and cautious dog owner who just relocated to Santa Barbara from San Fransisco. My partner and I have a Polish Greyhound (Chart Polski) named Jonathan who is very high maintenance and energetic. Jonathan requires a lot of attention, frequent exercise and a lot of love. Taking care of Jonathan has given me the confidence that I can handle taking care of any kind of dog. I have grown up with dogs my whole life, having a Jack Russell Terrier, Basset/Dachshund mix, and a spoiled Chihuahua. I frequently care for my sisters Basset-Hound named Jacques who is our neighbor here in Santa Barbara also. I am a very active person and typically run 20-25 miles weekly and love walking anywhere regardless of the distance.

We are so happy we met Patrick. In a very short period of time he has become our dog’s friend and champion walker. Our dog is a bit shy, but within a few minutes he had her wagging her tail. She now waits for his arrival in the window, eager to go to the local park for some fun. Patrick is amazing and is highly recommended to walk your dog. He is super polite and goes out of his way to help us. He greets our dog with such care and kindness and makes sure she has water after her walk. He is great at communicating too! We could not ask for a better morning companion for our dog ! Thank you Patrick!

A typical day
I currently do most walking around State Street and the Oak Park neighborhood area. With our dog we frequently go to Hendry’s Dog Beach and MacKenzie Dog Park. I will only take a dog that I am working with to the park/dog beach if I have become very familiar with their personality and gotten the approval from the owner.

I am a pianist/cellist and typically do a lot of freelance and teaching for work. I currently have a lot of free time on weekday mornings and into the early afternoon.
