For over 30 years I have learned how to adapt to and train a wide spectrum of dogs from little Yorkshire terriers to big ole' German Shepherds (and everything in between from Jack Russell terriers to Coonhounds.) My instincts are exceptionally strong, and my temperament seems to allow dogs to feel comfortable and safe while around me. I've spent time with tons of different breeds, from my Beagle named Tuesday, to my Yorkie, Clark and Airedale, Roscoe. The goofball Short-Haired Terrier, Sammy. My running mate, a White German Shepard - Rogue. Sadly they are no longer with me, but the companionship of a dog exceeds that of any human, which is why my new best friend is a playful, and gentle Coonhound named Riker. Being a distance runner also enables me to run basically forever should your pet need additional exercise or freedom in the open. After teaching high school English for 10 years (and dealing with the issues that come with Academia) I wanted to slow down and enjoy the quiet company and companionship of dogs. While I enjoy the company of my own dog (and best friend), having another dog or two stay at my home with my family just made more sense.. The prospect of hanging out and hiking with a few furry friends was just too appealing, so I became a pet sitter.
