Pet care experience
My love of dogs began in 2000 with my first Vizsla puppy. What a way to start! Can you say challenging? Since then I have been very involved in dog advocacy and care including 3 more Vizsla rescues and my current 'Heinz 57' Jillian. My last 3 have been senior rescues and yes, patience IS a virtue! I've cherished every second, slobber, challenge, reward and heartbreak. Yes even the saddest events added to my knowledge of dogs. I was a volunteer at CT Humane Society in Westport, CT for 8 years before moving to Indialantic in 2017 with my 14 YO Vizsla (Chloe Rose). She instantly became famous in our neighbrhood, and lived until 17! I am currently a volunteer with Touch of Grey Rescue in Melbourne Beach. Friends all say they want to come back in their second life as one of my doggos. I guess that says a lot. Look forward to meeting you and your 4 or 3 or 2 legged loves!

I first met Patty at our local dog shelter many years ago where we were both volunteered. She is very knowledgeable about dog behavior and has great skill in handling all types of dogs. She was always there for her shift and gave the animals such love and care . She truly is an outstanding animal lover and is passionate about caring for them. I can highly recommend her !! You couldn’t find anyone better.

I cannot have any pets in my home as my senior dog "Jillian" is a bit selective. I'm happy to walk your well behaved pup or play with them in an enclosed yard. I will ask about your dog's behavior(s) with other animals or hoo-mans before any interactions so we all remain safe!

I'd love to hear about any special behaviors or needs, either physical or mental, that will help me give your pet the best experience, and help me get to know him or her well. Things like favorite toys, favorite walk route, whether snacks are allowed etc. are all going to help.
A typical day
I love to stimulate your dogs mentally and physically baring any special circumstances, by enrichment activities including play time, walkies and a LOT of sweet talking!

Availability
I am a recently retired animal lover with more time on my hands than I know what to do with. Animals and animal advocacy are my passion, so why not extend my love for them and the knowledge I've accrued toward your beloved companion and this industry? I do have a senior at home so walks during the day are easiest. I'm OK with a kitty drop in visit but my expertise really is dogs. :)
