I work hard to make sure our home feels like a second home to your dog. Please see bottom of profile for new illness protocol. Things I do that make our home special: • Only a small number of dogs at a time (much smaller than most sitters) • Dogs separated and watched during mealtime • Daily walks at least 2 miles, this may be changing due to the new respiratory illness I am monitoring it (see below for full protocol) • Dogs allowed on furniture and beds • Dogs never kenneled, unless owner request during nighttime • I send numerous photos and videos during your dogs stay and a note about the day • Supervised enrichment time • Positive reinforcement training • I have private pet care insurance (rare for a Rover sitter to do this extra step) • Since we have a small number of dogs we do some fun things like walking to the neighborhood coffee stop for pup cups • Recurring clients if you see I am booked for a date you need pls message me as I keep one extra spot available for recurring clients • New Respiratory Illness protocol is now in place which includes 1) Send out communication to all boarders two weeks prior to their stay to stop going to dog parks, doggy daycare (unless it is at my house), and places like Paws and Pints. 2) I will be isolating dogs that come to the house for roughly 20 minutes (outside with me) to check for any symptoms 3) Any dog showing symptoms will not be allowed to stay 4) Continue current sanitary practices (example sterilize bowls/toys) We have a lot of Kong toys for hard chewers. I have years of experience and have owned numerous dogs including German Shepherds, Pitbulls, Beagles, and more. I have been able to train several dogs on how to skijor too.
