Hello, My name is Patricia and I’m in my forties. I have a work from home job that allows me to set my own hours. This lets me be flexible when it comes to my breaks and time off. This means if your pet needs to go out more often than my listed times, I will have no problem accommodating them. Most of my experience with animals comes from pets I had as a child or the pets of relatives. I have personally owned a hamster, several rabbits and a few fish now and then. I have experience cleaning cages, changing water, food bowls and bedding. Other than that, my family is mostly dog people, so I have had the pleasure of taking care of their fluffy companions while they were at work or on a trip. I love going for walks with them and playing fetch both inside and outside. Nothing beats the wagging tail of a happy pup. I haven’t had any experience with young pups but have had experience with senior dogs. I took care of my grandfather’s dog during the last of their days. I was one of the only people who could get his dog out of his funk to go for a walk. I was also responsible for making sure he got his meds on time. Though this did require some peanut butter. I have also had the pleasure of taking care of Shakester and Roy over Christmas break. Giving them pills on time and maintaining a good routine. As for cats, my experience with them comes from growing up around them. My parents have always had at least two cats in their household. My responsibility with them was to help clean litter boxes and feed the cats. More recently I have also taken on the responsibility of helping my mom bathe the cats, clip their nails and brush them.
