I am so excited to be doing a business I love! I graduated with an Animal Health Technician diploma (Veterinary Assistant) from St. Clair College in Windsor. While studying, we had to handle dogs that had various personalities and conditions. I've had personal pets in my home on and off since I was a child, including dogs, a cat that lived to be 19 years old, hamsters and Guinea pigs. I have the ability and knowledge to change surgical bandages and give medications. I just completed a pet first aid and CPR course with St. John Ambulance on Apr 14. I understand how important your pets are to you and how you can't trust just anyone with their care. I am one of those people, too! My husband, 12 year old daughter and I own a two story house in the area of Agincourt with plenty of space to roam. There are parks nearby to explore. There shouldn't be any concern with the other pets in our home. We have one dog who gets along well with other dogs. Our guinea pigs are in a room that can be separated from other pets as well.
