Grew up with dogs
Pet care experience
Hi, I grew with dogs and was recently helping to care for 2 big fluffy dogs (husky mixes) with very distinct personalities. I somehow taught the younger dog to bark when packages come. I am currently a cat owner (cat is stretching paw out photo). I am no stranger to dog language and cleaning up unforeseen messes (vomiting, pooping, etc) and tantrumings dogs showing their personality. I also helped take care of a cat that was not my own and am very aware of how a cat can just be a cat. (You know, you know) If there is any specific instructions for the animal. I would very much prefer having a list so I can reference back to it.
Reviews
Before she moved south, Patricia L. was our pet sitter. Our dog is a large Tibetan mastiff mix who is not people friendly. But he loved Patricia and she was wonderful with him. He also needs daily medications which she was great about giving him. She always stayed in our home with our dog and we trusted her completely. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a reliable pet sitter.
Both my dogs (Frenchie and Rottie) love Patricia! My Rottweiler is pretty nervous around new people, but took to Patricia right away and remembers her despite not seeing her for years. Patricia is always on time if not early, very thoughtful, communicative, and trustworthy. I have had no issues. I cannot recommend Patricia enough. 10/10 my go-to pet-sitter/house-sitter.

My care for the pet depends on what is needed and best for the pet. If the pet needs medication at a certain time, certain amount of play, or just someone to be there to be with them and or anything else (within reason), I will try best to give them what they need. For my own pet, I make sure she's comfy and feels safe enough to grumble and argue back at me (she has a grumbling personality). I also make sure she always has food and clean water as well as toys to keep her entertained and things she knows she can scratch. Since I'm offering to stop by and see how they (pets) are doing, I can play with them for a little bit, refill their food bowls, change out their water, and brush them if requested by their human parent or the pet themselves. I can do other things if requested and it is within reason.
Information Patricia L. would like to know about your pet
Do the pets take medication? Anything the pet(s) aren't supposed to do? How do they like to play? Anything special about them to keep in mind?
A typical day
A typical day will have me brushing the pet (if allowed and wanted), seeing if the pet will play with me, and making sure they have everything they need like water and food as well as going to the bathroom. I also just am there with them because sometimes the pet/animal wants a companion that's just there.
