I need a 'Dog Auntie' mug!
Pet care experience
I've taken care of pets of all sizes since I was in my in my early teens. From St Bernards to Dachshunds, poodles, doodles, mini mixes, shepards and huskys. I grew up with 2 cats and have one very vocal boy now. I've learned how to treat different types of personalities and to recognize certain behaviors. Such as when a dog is getting anxious or nervous, in need of stimulation, needs space, experiencing separation anxiety, etc. I've handled medical emergencies, such as reactions to digesting toxic substances. I always look for changes of behaviors and take them very seriously. I always do my research to ensure to keep our furry friends away from anything that could harm them. Such as lilies for cats and raisins and raw hide for dogs. I am most definitely the person who'd save an animal over myself. My goal at the end of the day is to have happy and safe pets. Which in turn makes me very happy!
Reviews
Patricia is great, and will be a go-to for dog care in the future.
Patricia took over watching our two dogs when our other sitter had to leave unexpectedly. Great communication from her, dogs were happy and house spotless when we arrived home. We will definitely book her again. Thank you Patricia!
Gadget and I are SO glad to have found Patricia! She was such a good fit for my sweet old girl who is 20+Y years old. From the moment she first walked in I knew Gadget would be in good hands. She sent pictures/ updates throughout her stay which I absolutely loved and she had no issues/concerns managing some of Gadget’s ‘old lady quirks’. Gadget loved having Patricia stay with her for a week and I wouldn’t hesitate to reach out to her again!
Patricia took great care of Clover. She kept in touch by sending photos and tending to Clovers needs. I’d happily have Patricia take care of Clover again.

Safety, trust & environment
I always want to be introduced to a pet prior to house sitting. It's important to understand the animals daily needs, where their safe place is, what behaviors are displayed if they are feeling uneasy, any medical history to watch out for, what commands they respond to, etc. I understand the importance of keeping a routine as steady and consistent as possible for them. Our furry friends deserve as little stress as possible when their owners aren't around.
