Upbeat and Dependable Animal Lover!

Pet care experience

I became a pet sitter simply because I have an enthusiastic love for taking care of animals! As a preferred sitter with RoverGO, you can rest assured that your pup will be in good hands with me no matter what. I am an experienced dog sitter and have cared for dogs of all walks of life and have experience in everything from basic care to training to medication administration. I’ll always make sure you and your pup are as happy as can be! I currently have a 3-year-old Maltese named Mac; he is great! I had a Chihuahua rescue before that, who I had since he was a puppy until he passed at 12 from a heart condition. At the same time, I had a female Yorkie, who was super sweet too. She even gave puppies that I personally delivered! I have also worked with my friend who started a dog business. Together, we walked, boarded and cared for many dogs in the Miami/Brickell area. I have been working with Rover for the last little bit and enjoying every minute of it! I always like to schedule a meet-and-greet before taking on any new clients. Upon first meeting, I try and leave the dogs alone to learn about them and let them get to know me on their own time. If they come to me, I'll pet them but I won't force myself on them. At the greet, I’ll always gather information from the owner, and get as much information as I can. During a stay, I will be taking pictures of the pets I care for so owners can be kept up-to-date on just how their pups are doing. I’ll also do everything I can to try and make our time together resemble their time at home as closely as possible. I always like to know how pups spend their time at home so I can try and stick to that schedule as closely as possible. And I’m always just a phone call away if you need me! New York has tons of great spots to bring dogs, so the world is our oyster! I live in Greenpoint and love exploring. If we had time, Central Park is great and has so many dogs; it would be a blast! I like McCarren Park and Bryant Park, since the latter has a dog area. It’s a great place to meet new friends! xo

Patricia was great and took really good care of the pupster. She also took in a delivery for me which was an unexpected but wholly appreciated gesture. Awesome!!

Patricia was great! It was our first time using a dog waking service and had some concerns. We had to leave the key at the deli down the block because we didn’t have a lock and it was no problem! She also carried our dog up and down since she has tiny legs. Sent cute photos and recap as well!
