Pet care experience
Dogs deserve love, respect, and attention. Having patience and playfulness are a must in being a caregiver. Dogs love to run and explore but in a safe environment. It is my job to ensure that they are protected--from traffic, people, and other animals or possible dangers, always using good judgement when they are in my care. Timely feeding, pottying, and watering are essential to great care of big dogs and little dogs alike. I love to sing to dogs (or sing WITH them!), play hide and seek, run, throw frisbies and give rewards for good behavior. Dogs must be attended to at all times; I am there to care for them and not be distracted by my phone or other people, etc. I love to be rewarded with hugs and sometimes sloppy kisses from them. Dog parks are a must, even in cold weather, but good judgement is necessary to ensure they don't get too cold or are out too long. I don't feed dogs people food--I only follow their diet to make sure they remain healthy. I always scoop the poo. Most of all, I want them to feel loved. They deserve it.

Skills
Information Patricia C. would like to know about your pet
If possible, I like to know about his/her preferences, temperament, and routine to ensure he feels comfortable and safe with me.
A typical day
We can walk to the dog parks or other grassy areas, avoiding high traffic and other potential perils. We can play fetch, run, Frisbee, and other games, or just sit on a blanket and cuddle if he gets tired. I will encourage him to stay active, but be aware of the signals that he needs to rest, have a drink, etc.
