I’ll love them like my own.

Pet care experience

My name is Trisha, I'm an avid animal lover and have always had pets growing up and all throughout my adult years. I took an almost 2 year hiatus to focus on starting a family in 2019. We welcomed our son in August 2020 and I’m now back in full swing and can’t wait to watch your furry babies! I started helping out with Dogs on Deployment and have truly enjoyed being able to help out and meet new people. I have boarded cats, lizards (though not my favorite), and dogs. The smallest dog was 8lbs and the largest was 210. I've been working from home since 2014, so I'm able to spend all day with the animals and can let them out whenever necessary. While I do work from home I do have a set schedule that I have to adhere to. I try to be as accommodating as possible in regards to drop offs and pick up's. During the day dogs have access to the whole house, basement and backyard. I provide walks, clean up and shower them with all the love and attention that they need. I'm not biased to any breed and I will treat them all as part of the family. Most common questions I am asked: 1. Do your dogs get along with other dogs? Yes! I like to do a meet and greet before hand just so that the dogs are familiar with each other's scent. 2. Do you need the dog picked up by a certain time? For drop off time I would prefer on Monday - Friday 7am-whenever. Saturday - Sunday: 9am-whenever For pick up Monday - Sunday - no later than 8pm. There are exceptions and we can discuss them when you send a sitting request. 3. Do you watch another family's dog while watching mine? The only time I will have another family's dog is if it's for doggy day care. Overnight's I will only have one family's dog. 4. I see you have a cat. My dog doesn't get along with cats. Is that a problem? The area for our cat is separated so he has his own area. He's able to walk through the gates and is very social and will scope out any new visitors. He has 2 cat condos as well so she can have his safe space if there's a dog that isn't too canny about cats. 5. I don't crate my dog(s) when I leave the house. Will you still watch him/her? Yes. We don't crate any of our dogs but they are house broken and do not chew on any furniture. If your dog is a chewer though please let me know as we've had a few pieces of furniture acquire some decorative teeth marks.

Patricia is beyond an excellent dog sitter. Her home and accommodations are perfect for a dog to stay and feel completely welcome. We were given daily updates and felt so at ease with her. Thank you for everything Patricia!

A typical day

I treat every dog as part of the family. I will spend one on one time with each dog to make sure that they're getting the attention and love that they need. We do allow animals on the furniture so if we're watching a movie, we will most likely have a furry cuddle companion.

Availability

Working from home, most of the times the pups will come into my office to hang out. I have a bed in my office for all the dogs and toys. I also will work outside, on warmer days, so that the dogs can spend more time running around and playing. I do let them out every 2 hours or as needed.
