Dan takes care of dogs for a living and has experience with a wide range of personalities and breeds. He is especially adept at recognizing dogs' needs and wants and is well-versed in adapting his approach to the owners' wishes. Patricha is caring and wants to cuddle. She is a Scout, and is always up for getting out and about with your fur babies.

Patricha and Daniel were delightful! They took excellent care of my elderly, special needs dog and were super attentive and intuitive to his needs. Their communication was top notch and I felt at ease the entire time having my little one in their care! Luis came back to me super happy and healthy and evidencing excellent care. Patricha and Dan are incredible and so kind! My sweetest potato, Pablo, has stayed with them twice now. He was so comfortable with them right away. I was very happy to see how excited he was to see them the second time I dropped him off. To me, that was such a clear sign of how great they treated him. They gave me updates throughout his stay with them. I highly, highly recommend them!
Patricia and Dan were great with my senior dog. They gave me daily updates and were very communicative. I’d highly recommend having them as your pet sitter. I felt like my fur baby was really well cared for while I was away.

We have clean doggy beds for your pets to lounge on and secure cabinets, wiring and doors. We will take them out leashed and/or harnessed every two hours for potty breaks. We live in a safe, clean, low-traffic neighborhood with multiple parks within five-ten minutes walking distance. Toys are available, but we prefer if you bring your own to make your dog feel more at home.

If your dog has incontinence issues, we kindly ask that you consider booking with another sitter. We have carpets throughout our home, so it's difficult to keep track of and properly clean up after numerous messes. We are happy to take your pup for a walk every two hours, but if this isn't enough for their needs, there may be accidents inside. Thank you for your understanding!
A typical day
We'll take your pup out first thing when we wake up, which is usually around 7-7:30 am. Due to Patricha being a student and Dan working part-time, one of us is almost always around to keep your dog company. In the afternoon they will get a long walk if they're able, and if they're not, there are plenty of parks around with enclosed spaces for them to get some fresh air and exercise. In the evening, there's a cozy spot on the couch for them with lots of attention, if they're up for it. We're also versed in giving your dog space when needed.

Availability
Patricha is a student at UVic and Dan works part-time. We therefore have lots of flexibility and can take good care of your dog any day of the week. In the event that Patricha's classes fall on the same day as Dan's work, your dog would be alone for a maximum of four hours (Thursdays only). We will let you know before confirming the booking if the dog is going to be left alone at any time.
