Hello, My name is Brenda Jimenez, Volunteer Program Specialist at El Paso Animal Services. Patrice Johnson is a one of our Level 1 Animal Handler Volunteers here at EPAS. Patrice has gone through appropriate animal handling trainings to handle dogs and cats, as well as background check! Patrice also has a Fear Free Certification under her belt that allows her to understand dogs that might be shy or stressed as well as high energy dogs that are found in shelter environments. Patrice is able to tell whether a dog is stressed, shy, or high energy. Patrice comes in to walk our dogs and helps around our shelter and is dedicated volunteer!
