Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs all my life. Currently live with my mum so look after the 2 labradors with the family. But let’s say I require some more dog therapy as I’m like a kid at Christmas when I see hounds! I have walked, trained, bathed and played with dogs since I was youngster. Looking after dogs gives me great satisfaction especially when taking on them on our favourite pastime, walkies! Love giving dogs treats and plenty of loves. I have looked after many breed including labradors, huskies, collies, Bassett hounds. I am good with cats too. But I’m a dog lover at heart.

Patric has looked after our husky for a few years. He is reliable, flexible and caring. Patric has a great understanding of dogs and how to meet each ones needs. Patric has also been able to house sit and look after our dog for multiple days in the past, always leaving the house as we left it and the dog happy.

I always ensure treats are on hand and it is paramount to respect boundaries for the animal and human alike. Like humans, dogs need to understand and process their surroundings. This can be an anxious thing for them to begin with , but in my belief they are lovely and kind hearted especially given basic training. Please note I am mainly a dog walker but willing to do dog sitting duties on a Saturday should you require one.

I do need to be aware if the dog has behaviour issues. Understandably whilst I am confident around dogs and most animals I would not put the dog in a situation or myself for that matter in where this causes them distress. Please ensure basic training is done.
A typical day
Around the area I am in there’s some very picturesque with lots of fields and walking spots for the dog and myself to enjoy. When I’m with my mums labs (as seen in pictures) I love taking them out and about.

Availability
I’m a full time worker but can do weekends between 6am - 5pm. There’s some lovely walking spots around mine. Close to Joey the swan and also there’s other walking spots too.
