Pet care experience
I've been an avid animal lover since I was old enough to crawl. For the past 6 years I have been fostering rescue dogs and also boarding dogs in my home. I have Sasha, a large coon/dobie mix who is the most friendly easy going dog around and enjoys other dogs. I also have a 3 legged Himalayan Persian cat that has been around dogs all of her life. Anyone that knows me will tell you how much I love animals.

Patience is wonderful with dogs! My terrible terrier Kona is 12 pounds of terror. She absolutely loves Patience. All I have to say to my dog is.. "do you want to go to Patience's house" and she gets so excited. Patience has watched both of my dogs on numerous occasions and they love her. It's like going to grandmas house for them. She also watched some of my friends dogs and they too, dog and owner, were very happy to have her as a pet sitter!

No breed preference but the dog needs to be cat friendly. I like to have your dog come over for a "get to know each other visit" before the stay to see how they do.
A typical day
I have a gated tiered backyard where the dogs can play and run. There is also a large deck off of my living room. See photo of Sasha sunning herself on the deck. Depending on your dog, I am able to take them to the dog park and on walks.
