I am a very active woman, and also a retired nurse; when I raised sled dogs, I took care of them myself, giving medications by mouth or injection. I had the best time of my life when I lived in a log cabin with my dogs, I had about 6-8 adults, and I have raised 10 litters........I became very ill and could no longer live alone in the woods, so I farmed my dogs out to other kennels, and now rent where dogs are not allowed, and I miss them terribly. I love all animals, and my roommate has a cat, which I help care for. Whatever animal you have, I can care for them, birds, sheep, goats, horses, chickens.....give me instruction and I can do it, size does not bother me......since I am so active, I now ride my bike instead of drive if I can.
