Pet care experience
I’ve worked with Friends For Life, I’ve fostered dogs from Watauga, I have 7 adult grandkids that have two pets in each home- all spend time with me, I love dogs. I have a fenced back yard, big porch, but my dogs are allowed on beds & furniture. Totally retired! I play cards on Thursday, water aerobics T&T. The rest of time I play with dogs. My life is easy & flexible. You’re welcome to come to see my dog house anytime. I also FT your pup playing. I treat all of them as if they belonged to me. I offer a great fenced yard with big porch. I live on a dirt road 6 mi from downtown Boone, my 17 lbs 1 year old Chihuahua and mountain Fiest would love to have friends come play and stay.

Pat offered to care for my very difficult schnauzer for two weeks. He is not an easy dog to care for, being skittish and snappish. She treated him like a member of her family, and let him sleep in her bed with her. I would love for her to keep him any time, he loved staying with her.
Pat Carter has been one of my dearest friends for about 5-6 years now. She is a dog lover to say the least!! What she did for her dog rescue Carrie should be in the record books!! It's a very sad story due to Carrie's background but what started out sad, ended up with Carrie having an amazing life with Mama Pat.
