Pat always does a great job with Luna and I will continue to book her when she is available!

This is an uncomfortable situation, but I felt I owe it to my fellow cat lovers to share my experience. Pat seemed like a very kind person so I hope to not make this a negative view of who she is. All I know is what I saw. The photos taken were good, I saw her take the photos to update me because I have a home security video system. But having this system allowed to see first hand how my cat was being interacted with in the time I was away. Pat was on her phone the entire time she was there. I tried to give her helpful hints to get her to interact more with my pet and she continued to reassure me she is. I could see on my home recording that she in fact, continued to sit and be on her phone. She stopped responding when I told her to play with him if he wasn’t asking for pets. The saddest thing for me is that she hardly pet the cat- ignored him to the point of him head butting her hand then she haphazardly scratched his back while simultaneously being on her phone with her other hand. This was done on two 30 minute check in visits and was the only interaction and stimulation my pet was to receive for the time I was away. Yes, the basic needs of feeding and litter changing were met, but the quality of the time spent was subpar. The main lights were left on and the trash from the canned food was left out. These are things I could look past but the lack of attention given to my cat was very disappointing. I understand that some cats do not need much attention and do not ask for it, but my cat loves people and loves to receive attention (which I feel he made clear through his body language). This was also discussed prior to the sitting. My expectations were for him to receive love and mental stimulation. I now feel uncertain and nervous about depending on strangers to look after my fur baby.
