my mom started a rescue when i was in the 4th grade and i have helped her since. she "retired" a few years ago but of course its hard to get out of that work. growing up we always had lots of fosters and i would go with my mom on home visits, adoptions, and to the shelters to pick up dogs that need rescuing. She also trained the rescues in the beginning of her work, in german and english. I use to work at a farm store where people can bring in their pets and it was the highlight of my day when i could pet and play with all the dogs that came in. Currently i do not have a job so anytime is available for me, i do have a wine guide business i am starting so when i start setting wine tastings i will update. i live just outside of orland on the river. My dogs have a doggy door that goes to a huge fenced in area where they can run and sunbathe.
