Empathetic Care for your Fur-baby
Pet care experience
*WEEKDAYS: ONLY AVAILABLE IN THE EVENING (see Schedule below) I've had dogs my entire life with just about every personality, so I am not phased by anything thrown my way. I am comfortable with reactive dogs and understand how they work because of my own reactive pup at home. I may not have professional experience, but I have grown up with them and understand how to keep them happy, healthy, and safe, especially when going on walks. Because of my own pup's reactivity, I have been forced to take a training-focused approach with every walk we go on, so if yours needs some extra attention as well, I have no problem with that. I find that a lot of reactive dogs are misunderstood, so if that is a concern that you have, you can take a deep breath when they are in my hands.
Reviews
Parker was amazing for our dog. He can be hard to handle but by end of weekend he had made her one of his “pack”.
***** I recently had the pleasure of having Parker step in as a substitute dog sitter, and I must say I am absolutely delighted with her service. While my regular dog sitter was unavailable, Parker seamlessly filled the role and provided exceptional care for my furry friend. From the very beginning, Parker exhibited a high level of professionalism and a true passion for dogs. Her friendly and accommodating demeanor immediately put me at ease, and I felt confident in entrusting my beloved pet to her care. Throughout her time with my dog, Parker provided regular check-ins, complete with adorable pictures and updates. It was evident that she not only cared for my dog's physical well-being but also their emotional happiness. Furthermore, Parker's punctuality and reliability were impeccable. She consistently arrived at the scheduled times and made sure that my dog's feeding and playtime adhered to our usual routine. In summary, Parker, as a substitute dog sitter on Rover, went above and beyond my expectations. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine love for animals were truly impressive. My dog not only received excellent care but also clearly enjoyed her time with Parker. I wholeheartedly recommend Parker to anyone in need of a responsible and loving dog sitter. I am grateful for her outstanding service and will undoubtedly reach out to her again in the future.
I’m the first to admit my dog can be a handful. While he is very friendly and always means well, he is very reactive. This makes me nervous to let others watch/walk him. When Parker started walking him for me, I let her know of this and she rose to the challenge. She shows attentiveness and patience while walking with him and he always comes back so happy after being out and about. To have someone that I can full heartedly trust with him alone is a relief, as I know my dog is in good hands with Parker.
Parker is very good at handling very active and excitable dogs. She has spent her entire life around dogs who have a lot of energy. She herself has a dog who likes to pull when he sees things like squirrels and people and does a great job at holding him back while also teaching him how to not react.

I have my own routine for my pup at home, so I have no issue adapting to new routines for new pups. I know putting your dog into someone else's trust can be a big stressor, but I can assure you that there is no need when I am watching them. If I can handle the anxiety-ridden, reactive dog that I have, then you can be confident that I can handle whatever personality comes with yours!
Information Parker W. would like to know about your pet
I have no breed preferences and feel comfortable around any type of dog, especially bully breeds. I have primarily had medium to large dogs throughout my life, so size is not a concern. I do want to know what their energy levels are, any triggers they have, how reactive they are, what their personality is like, etc. I essentially just need to know your dogs' likes and dislikes! I am a helicopter parent with my own pup, so if you tell me what your dog needs, then consider it done.
A typical day
I have walked all over Peoria with my own dog, so I don't have any specific places I prefer to go. There are some trails over by Bradley, off of Farmington road, that I enjoy, but I am more than okay with figuring out a walking path near the owner's home to make it easier on the dog. I understand that dogs are creatures of habit, so sticking with a familiar area may be easier on the pup, especially when a stranger is walking them!
