Pet care experience
I am a young DC professional with diverse experience caring for dogs, cats, and horses in private and professional settings. I worked at a 10-vet small-animal practice in highschool and college, and have house-sat for 4+ dog homes on numerous occasions. I am more than happy to administer medications, follow prescribed veterinary regimens, and provide extra care for geriatric cats and dogs.

I quickly assess each cat or dog’s baseline routine and mannerisms so that I can monitor the pet’s behavior, assess their stress levels, and provide optimum care, attention and play to each animal. I specialize in 3+ night stays and provide multiple check-ins throughout the day to ensure pets are happy and healthy.

Getting to know your dog is my biggest priority. It will be really important for us to meet up ahead of time for a meet and greet so that we can all become friends and feel comfortable around each other. If your dog has any medical or behavioral needs I am happy to accommodate.
A typical day
I love engaging with dogs in whatever way they respond best, whether it’s playing fetch, a cuddle on the couch, or a walk/run. I am happy to take dogs to local parks or spend an afternoon napping on the sofa.

Availability
I work full time 9-5 in DC and live in Arlington, VA, so I am available early mornings and evenings/nights during the week and throughout weekends and federal holidays in the greater metro area. I can also do mid-day check-ins within a 10 minute walk of Dupont Circle on weekdays.
