Pet care experience
I have been providing reliable dog walking and pet care since 2016 and love what I do! I specialize in services for companions with special emotional needs and trauma. Visiting your companion is more than just a potty break, it's a connection! :) I have made many fur friends over the years and enjoy long term relations with the pets I care for.

When we adopted our terrier, Charlie, we learned that he had been found by a police officer with a broken back. He was still recovering when we got him, and we quickly learned about the lasting effects of this trauma. It literally took a year for him to warm up to our first dog walker, so when I introduced him to Parker, I warned them that it would be a rough number of months ahead. To my surprise, Charlie trusted Parker from that very first day! I referred a friend of mine with a very reactive dog to Parker, and she had a similar experience--her dog took to Parker right away! On top of that, Parker takes the best pet pics to send along with their update texts. Parker has been a trusted member of our family for over four years, and I whole-heartedly recommend them!
Parker is a dependable, respectful and deeply kind person. He will go the extra mile to make sure others' pets are well cared for. He has a natural and intuitive connection with dogs which makes him a one-of-a-kind care taker. I would trust him with my dog any day.
Parker is an incredible human, dog care professional, and dog pawrent. He has worked as a contractor for my local pet sitting company for 5 years and is a wonderful, caring, and reliable dog walker and pet sitter. He has also personally cared for my fur babies and I trust him 100% with them. Parker has a huge heart and the animals can tell :)

First thing when I arrive, we have all the dog kisses, of course! Then, I check to see if there are any special requests or needs for our visit. If the visit entails a walk, we will get all geared up with our harnesses and ID collars, then hit the streets...minding our space from other dogs and humans. If the visit entails yard play, I assure that all major access points are secure, before we go out. After all our "business" is completed, we have some snuggles and treats, assuring dietary restrictions. Water bowls filled, any accidents cleaned, and access door re-secured. The safety of companions and property are of the highest priority!

I like to start off knowing what makes my new fur friend happy and what they like to do. I also like to know if the companion has any special accommodations to make them more comfortable during our visit, and any restrictions such as length of walk, or dog reactive behaviors. If there have been any past situations with other dogs or people, it would be helpful to know so that I am able to best protect your companion. Also, if your companion is working on new commands or tricks, please let me know so I can reinforce and give praise.
A typical day
After our big hello, I like to reinforce learned commands, go on walks, play catch, run around and play! For dogs that like to socialize, we go to dog parks or check out the neighborhood sniff spots.

I work for myself during the week and have a flexible schedule in the mornings and later afternoons and evenings. Generally available Monday-Friday 7am-10am, 3pm-8pm.
