Pet care experience
I've volunteered at pet shelters. My first experience volunteering was in high school. I was responsible to for taking the dogs out for a walk, feeding the dogs, and cleaning and replacing bedding in their kennels. In addition to volunteering at shelters, I have been a loving, reliable, and nurturing host to many of my friends' pets while they have been away. I've co-parented a senior cat with a partner in the past.

I will take into account, the age, and training of your pet to determine to level of access your pet may have around the house. We don't have any children or other pets in the home. We keep the home relatively free of moveable items that can potentially hinder your pet. If your pet is staying for 24 hours (or more), I will ensure that your pet is fed at least 2 times daily unless otherwise instructed. I will take into account all owner specificities for pet care.

Availability
Ido not work on the weekends, and thus have greater availability to give pets plenty of attention. My schedule on weekdays is variable but I am usually not out of the house for over 5 hours at a time. When I am not home, there is a high likelihood that one of my parents will be, as our work schedules don't always overlap. So you can be reassured that your pets will always be attended to!
