Pet care experience
I am 26 years old who lives in Orpington. I have two Alaskan Malamute brothers; Ghost who is nearly 4 years old and Bear who is nearly 3 years old. I love getting out in the fresh air with my own dogs and have decided I would love to walk different breeds during my spare time. I have dealt with different types of dogs from Springer Spaniels, Chihuahuas and Flat Coat Retrievers some of who are nervous, boisterous and very playful. I am reliable and punctual, I always care about the happiness, safety and wellbeing of the dogs that I look after. I have my own car and can walk dogs either on a walk around the roads, to the park or a country walk. I always make sure I pick up the dogs business and throw it away in a dog friendly bin.

Paris is a very trustworthy dog walker, sitter and all round dog lover. I met her while walking dogs for Rover myself and she is someone I recommend to others when I cannot make a booking work for me. She has two husky malamute cross dogs and knows how to handle them well. As well as being a lovely person I would highly recommend Paris for your dog care needs.

I do not allow strangers to come up and pet dogs as I don’t know if the dog may be reactive and nervous. I also do not allow dogs that I walk to be off lead as I never know if there are any dogs in the vicinity that are aggressive, scared or reactive. Also I am not 100% on the dogs recall so prefer to keep them on lead.

Does your dog have anything that makes them nervous? Other dogs, motorbikes etc? One of my dogs is nervous of motorbikes and buses so we reassure him every time we see one and it helps him to become a bit more confident each time.
A typical day
I love seeing dogs explore their new surroundings, smelling is a mental stimulation as well as the exercise so I always take my time for the dogs to have a sniff. Dogs will always be on a lead, no off lead walking.

Availability
I work a 9:30-5:30 job in London Monday - Friday. I am free to walk dogs on Saturdays and Sundays through rain, sun and the cold winter months.
