I have had pets my whole life. I owned a toy poodle for 7 years but sadly had to give her away when my grandpa used to live with us because he was allergic. I have a 7 month old golden retriever now who is very calm and loves to run around with other dogs. I am a college student but do most of my work online when I have the time. my mom does not work, so she is who watches my dog all day. I also have two other sisters who come and go throughout the day from work and also love pets. I have always loved animals and if it wasn't for my passion of technology and becoming a police officer, I would definitely consider a career where I am surrounded by animals all day and experience being their hero. We do have a pool but it is gated. We live in a gated community and there is a small park within the neighborhood so never any need to walk out of the gated community to walk my dog. I have been pretty successful at training my dog on my own. not too many tricks but she does sit and stay which is what I mostly wanted to teach her.
