Pet care experience
Hello! I'm Paola, a full time kitchen worker trying to gain some income and have fun w pups! I live in the Treme and am not far from the Lafitte Greenway and all the great areas of Bayou St John. I have 2 cats at home, both outdoor and 1 can try to control the situation so I prefer to watch dogs elsewhere. My youngest cat is pretty friendly, but scared until he's acclimated w the new pets. I'm pretty active and can manage large dogs and long walks, although I'd like to get to know them if I'll have multiple dogs from different homes. I've had extended stays w different dogs, lived w a pack of 5 med/large breeds and seven cats and can manage a lively home.

Paola was super sweet and communicative. I felt really good leaving my pups in her care. My one dog hast to take a daily pill and she even alerted me when his pills ran low. Thank you, Paola!
Paola was great! Came home to a clean house that she took very good care of and she was even able to bring my plants back to life. She worked around the weather to ensure that my dog got a walk so he could get some energy out in spite of the high temps. Would definitely book her again!

Paola was amazing! She sent photos daily of my girls and last minute was so flexible when one of my dogs had an addition of medicine the day I left. Wish I could give her 10/5 stars!

I have a semi fenced yard so I can't provide a free running area, but I do have nice sized yard w plenty of grass if they need a quick potty break. When the temps rise I like to have the option close by for quick potty breaks in case it's dangerous for long walks in the heat.

I love all dogs and totally accept them w their personalities and past experiences. I'll never discriminate against any breed of dog, but I would love to be as thoroughly informed as possible if they need special attention. I want everyone to be safe and happy and if that means taking extra steps to do that I don't mind at all. I'd hate to have any kind of incident happen on my watch and need all the tools and info to keep everyone ok.
A typical day
I love to explore the bayou st John area and the local restaurants and bars that allow dogs to hang. I love walking through city park, relaxing in the grass while reading, playing endless fetch. When I'm home I enjoy cooking watching some TV and reading on my porch.
