I’ve cared for cats all of my life and have a deep understanding of body language and communication styles. I’ve cared for dogs since I was in elementary school. My primary experience was with a family friend from church who had poodles on a diverse diet and training schedule that I was to upkeep when she traveled and needed my services. I've worked professionally with animals for a total of 5 years ranging from farm animals like chickens, goats and sheep to dog training and boarding facilities. I have worked at a dog training facility that specializes in high anxiety, fearful and reactive dogs. I was not a trainer, but I was able to gain knowledge and understanding in working with these behaviors. I am continuing my education in animal science beginning again this summer semester in June.
