Pet care experience
I’m Pamilla. I’m an animal enthusiast and previous pet owner. I raised a Bichon Frise named Sugar and a Ragdoll cat named Cookie. Sugar lived to be 18 years old –– she was amazing –– and Cookie lived to be 15. Their bond was incredible, and they ended up passing away within two months of one another. I was very heartsick. Thinking about getting back to work, I was looking for something that would inspire me and the people around me. What could fill the void of missing my fur babies so much? Well, my prayers were answered when I found Rover. My home is a big part of who I am. I love to cook, decorate, and play soft Jazz music. My yard is a sanctuary of trees and flowers. Living on a cul de sac provides me with a lot of privacy. My neighborhood is quiet and pet-friendly. It’s very calming here, and my pets always felt that. I have decided to make Rover my number one gig. When I pet sit, I keep the animals with me. If they want to follow me into the laundry room, we can make it fun. While I’m making dinner or doing any ordinary activities throughout the day, they follow me like a shadow. I love it! I am here for your pet 24/7. If I have to run an errand it is less than 30 minutes. However, I pre plan so I normally do not have to leave the house. I mentioned CRATE TRAINED ONLY. What I mean by that is if your pet is comfortable with a crate, by all means bring it. If they are not crate trained that would not be an issue with me.

This was the first time using rover.com and I am so pleased. Pamilla was so wonderful. She answered all my questions and put my mind at ease. My dog, Milo and I met at her house ahead of our vacation to get to know her. I was looking for someone who lived close by and did not have other pets. Pamilla was perfect. Milo took to her right away. Throughout our time away she sent texts and pictures how Milo was doing. I appreciated those so much. What a wonderful dog sitter. I wish I could give her more stars.
Pamilla is an angel! She took great care of our Diva, Roxy while we went on vacation. Very thorough in her research of Roxy and asked all kinds of questions during our Meet and Greet. We will definitely take Roxy back to her!❤️
Pamilla took great care of my Sadie. Sadie was really happy spending time at her home and enjoys sunbathing in the backyard. Pamilla also communicates and sends photos daily so that we don’t miss our Sadie.

I would like your pooch to be house-broken, of course. I’m sorry to say that I won’t take any Pit Bulls. Any information you can provide me about your pet is welcome and helpful. The more I know, the more relaxed and happy they’ll be with me. I have common sense knowledge about first aid, but I’m not certified with pet CPR. If this is a concern, I can easily get my certification. I only take one pet per stay from start to finish unless they are from the same family. Additional charge would apply. PLEASE NOTE: PICK-UP BY 12:00 NOON. THIS PROVIDES ME AVAILABILITY TO BOOK ANOTHER CLIENT FOR THAT DAY. PICK-UP AFTER 12:00 NOON WILL BE CONSIDERED A BOOKING FOR "DOGGY DAYCARE @ $35.00". IF YOU HAVE ANY CONCERNS, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. WE CAN ALWAYS COME UP WITH A SOLUTION.
A typical day
When I meet a new pup, I greet them with a gentle introduction and humbleness so that they feel safe and secure. Then I’ll talk with them and start playing with them. Talking with them is a big part of how I connect with dogs. I like to offer treats, but only if they are approved by the pet owner. My yard is wonderful for getting some outdoor activity. However, my street also has great sidewalks and lots of designated paths that we can walk on. We’ll have lots of play time, grooming, and chill time during their stay with me. I’m always attentive and pay close attention to what is important to my clients. Knowing all the details of my clients’ pets is key to an enjoyable and happy stay. Staying in contact with my human clients when they reach out to me is also highly important. I have decided to make Rover my number one priority, so my schedule is flexible for pet sitting.

Full time in my home. They will be treated like family. Keeping them in the know when I do laundry, yard work etc. Communication with pets is key. They are smarter than we give them credit for.
