Animal care has been my passion since I was a child. I have grown surrounded by all kinds of animals from dogs to exotics to even farm animals. Additionally, during my studies, I used to work at the vet clinic as a Patient Care Assistant which means I can recognise symptoms needing vet visits, especially those urgent. I'm also comfortable with basic grooming like bathing or trimming nails. I have a full driving licence which means transportation is not an issue if needed. One of my areas of interest is dog training, which allowed me to share informal suggestions with vet clinic patient owners seeking advice on their dog's training. Another area of my interest is rabbit care. In my free time, I used to volunteer at the rabbit rescue, which along with extensive research, and being a mum to my own rabbit gave me a good foundation. I always try to tailor my care and walk durations/frequency to specific breeds to ensure doggies get enough physical activity. I also have a private garden with a lot of space for play or training sessions. Why did I decide to join Rover? As much as I love my office job, it sometimes comes with a big responsibility, stress and minimal physical activity. Being surrounded by animals was always my escape as well as a hobby. Therefore, I decided that It would be a great combination of spending my time doing something I enjoy, but also developing my skills further. In the future, I would love to become a certified dog behaviourist. I believe that observing different dogs' behaviours would be a great first step.
