Pet care experience

Hello! Thank you for stopping to read my bio. I am an experienced and dedicated pet caregiver with over 14 years of experience. Since the age of 10, I have been caring for animals, from fostering cats with my mom to walking the neighbors dogs and rescuing kittens from drain wells. I have also worked with the Finders Keepers Cat Rescue for 3+ years. In addition to cats, I have experience fostering older and young dogs, as well as puppies for animal shelters. I currently have 2 large dogs and 4 cats, all licensed with the state, up-to-date on vaccinations, and spayed/neutered. I am also capable of taking care of a variety of small animals, including rabbits, mice, rats, and birds. Pets will be fed separately, accommodating for scheduled or free-feeding diets. While I have a 2-year-old daughter, she will not come in contact with dogs that are not familiar with children. If you chose me as your pet caregiver you can rest easy knowing your furry family member is in caring, capable hands. I will provide you with as many updates and photos as requested!

Pamela took excellent care of my baby while my husband and I vacationed for two weeks. I felt so bad leaving him for so long, but Pamela’s daily pictures, videos and messages made me feel so much better. Thank you, Pamela! I’m so sad you are moving out of state and cannot keep him next time!

Safety, trust & environment

I just wanted to provide some information regarding the safety and security of my home for your pets. My backyard is completely enclosed with a 6ft tall privacy fence, ensuring that your pets will have a safe and secure outdoor space to play and exercise. Additionally, I have a 15ft by 25ft fenced off area inside the privacy fence that is available in case any dogs do not get along with each other. This will provide a separate space for them to play and interact without any issues. The 15ft by 25ft area is also filled with pea gravel for when it rains the dogs won't get muddy! I will always supervise your dogs while they are outside, ensuring their safety and well-being. I understand how important it is to provide a safe and secure environment for pets, and I take this responsibility seriously. If you have any questions or concerns about the safety of my home or backyard, please do not hesitate to ask. I want you to feel confident and comfortable leaving your pets in my care. Thank you for considering me as your pet caregiver! If your dogs need to be crated, I ask that they are crate trained, as this will ensure their comfort and safety while in my care. I will provide them with regular exercise, playtime, and potty breaks outside. In case any of your pets prefer to be alone, I have a spare room that can accommodate a cat or older dog. This room is separate from my other pets, providing a quiet and peaceful space for them to relax in. I understand that house training is an important aspect of pet care, so I will work with your dogs to ensure that they follow their regular routine as much as possible. I will also keep their designated areas clean and well-maintained, ensuring that they are comfortable and happy. Rest assured, I will provide your pets with plenty of love, attention, and care while they are in my home. If you have any specific needs or requirements, please do not hesitate to let me know. Thank you!

Information Pamela W. would like to know about your pet

I do ask that I am informed if your dogs has any special quirks. Let me know: Bathroom schedule: If your dog likes to mark his/her territory inside. Feeding schedule: The dog's feeding schedule, including what type of food they eat, how much they eat, and how often they need to be fed. Medications: If the dog requires any medications, make sure you let me know when and how they should be administered. Exercise routine: The dog's exercise routine, including how often they need to be walked and for how long. House rules: Any specific rules or routines the dog follows, such as where they sleep, whether they are allowed on furniture, and if there are any areas of the house that are off-limits. Behavior: Your dog's behavior, including any specific triggers that might cause anxiety or aggression, and how they interact with other animals or people. Contact information: Make sure you leave me with an extra form of contact information in case of emergencies. Emergency plan: It's important to have a plan in case of emergencies, such as a veterinarian contact and location, and any relevant medical information about the dog. As well as what steps to take if your pet becomes injured or sick if none of the emergency contacts answer the phone.
