Experienced and loving dog sitter
Pet care experience
I am knowledgeable in dog and cat behavior, which includes body language, health, training, and much more! I have a genuine love for all kinds of animals and am passionate about advocating for their proper care. I am respectful of their boundaries and would never force them to do something they don’t want to. Additionally, I have experience with pets that have behavioral issues and am able to train them using positive reinforcement. When it comes to walking, I am extremely attentive and make sure they are not consuming anything they shouldn’t be. I am also careful with other dogs, and people on bikes, scooters and skateboards

Communication
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
I am very big on respecting your home and your pets space. I give them time to get used to my presence before even trying to walk them if this is one of the first times they meet me. Additionally, I provide 2-3 walks a day depending on the dog’s needs.
Information Pamela P. would like to know about your pet
It is important for me to know any behavioral issues your dog may have such as aggression, possessiveness, or if they are reactive to anything like bikes and skateboards. This is to keep both me and the dog safe. Please let me know if your dog has a tendency to escape or pull on the leash. Also, let me know their preferred routes and their favorite treats/toys!
A typical day
If there is a park nearby, I would ideally take them there and allow them to explore the area safely. If the dog is able to, I would run with them so that they can expend their energy. Other than that, I try my best to provide mental stimulation by providing puzzles, or teaching them tricks if the owner asks. Each dog is different and I will meet their needs whether that’s lots of love and cuddles or a ton of activity, or even just sitting on the couch five feet away from them. (Some dogs aren’t big on affection but do like company)
