Auntie Pam at your service
Pet care experience
I don’t know about you guys but in my opinion, pets are our new children. I have had two dogs of my own in the past. One from when I was in sixth grade (Snoopy, a bichon frise) who is sadly no longer with us, and then two more (Lily, a maltipoo and Nano, a morkie) that my mom and I got a couple months into quarantine who I see as my surrogate children even though they live with my mom since I’ve moved out. I raised, trained and love them with my all.
Reviews
Pam has been a great sitter for Luna each and every time. She is available when I need her on the fly and is very patient! She gives a thorough summary each time Luna stays with her so I know what my busy body has been up to. Highly recommend for all of her services!
Pam has cared for our cats multiple times over the last few years, one of which is in diabetic remission, so reliability is so important to us. We feel like she cares about our cats just as much as we do, and they are always so happy to see her and when we return. I wholly recommend Pam for your pet sitting needs!
About Pamela N.
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
The way I like to go about caring for pets in their own environment is to ask the owners to leave me written instructions of the pets routines, habits, likes and dislikes, etc. My main focus is to make sure that your pet feels safe and comfortable with me entering their space and to earn their trust by knowing all of the previous information beforehand.
Information Pamela N. would like to know about your pet
I ask that you please give me written instructions or notice of your fur babies habit, likes/dislikes, quirks they have, things to keep an eye out on or behaviors that you’re correcting or not indulging so that it’s kept consistent within my care.
A typical day
What I’d like to do is use puzzle treats to stimulate their senses and get there intellectual gears going along with playing with their favorite toys, taking them on walks and allowing them to take the appropriate time needed for them to get their smelling and business on.. and maybe spoil them with treats and love every here and there.

Availability
I work in NW DC from 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday and usually have my weekends free and ready to care for your fur baby along with being available for walks or drop-ins from 6am-8am & 6pm-10pm during the week. Sadly where I live, no pets are allowed whatsoever so I’m unable to board pets but that doesn’t exclude me from being able to take care of them from the comfort and safety of their own environment.
