Pet care experience
We love dogs! Our Queen Anne home has a fenced yard and we're looking forward to loving on your dog(s). xoxoxoxoxoxoxo Woof! There are two dog lovers in the house, my husband and I. We are in our 60's and very active. I work from home, with potty breaks every 2-4 hours. Currently we offer doggy day care and overnight care. I walk several miles a day and would love to have company. We have terrier experience, having had our own wonderful Airedales for 13+years; they are most dearly missed. I have also cared for aging dogs with special needs including diet, medication, blindness, and mobility challenges. Multiple dogs? Please feel free to contact us and we will gladly accommodate multiple dogs from a single family whenever possible. If you have a special situation, please feel encouraged to inquire. Why I love dog sitting Always a dog lover, and really love Airedales. Always had dogs growing up. Have owned medium and large dogs mostly, yet adored our dachshund and little poodle too. I always have a leash and treats in my car, and am happy to rescue a stray, or over night a lost dog until reunited with owners. I have cared for senior dogs including preparing vet specified food from scratch, medications, potty respite, and creating safe environments as needed due to loss of mobility or sight, or recovering from surgery. I look forward to meeting you and your beloved dog(s)! Meet my pets None About my yard The backyard is fenced with a 6' (privacy) wood fence, with 1 gate. It is natural landscaping, trees, and a large patio with deck. It is not large but we take long walks or travel to a dog park if lots of exercise is preferred. My experience administering medication I am comfortable giving oral medication. Very willing to learn to give injections.

Star had a great holiday with Pamela and her doggie friends! Thanks for all the photos and updates. Knowing our furry family member was happy helped us enjoy our travels away even more!

Information Pamela L. would like to know about your pet
How does your dog behave on leash walking in a neighborhood or off leash in a park? I walk several miles a day in a neighborhood setting; in order for your dog to walk with me, good leash manners are a must. :0) What makes your dog happy and what makes your dog uncomfortable for example, loud noise, thunderstorms, kids...the honest story please. I have a special place in my heart for Airedales after having two very special ones of my own. I understand the special mind set/requirements of the terrier breed(s), and have the patience and passion to love them anyway! Is your dog crate trained? It is not necessary, yet it can provide a safe, comfortable place for your dog as it adjusts to a home away from home. We are happy to consider up to 3 dogs from the same home.
