As a child, my family always had dogs and cats and I always allowed my children to have pets. For the most part, we had dogs and cats. When my children left home, I continued the care and training of the family pets. I am experienced caring for pets in their for extended stay. I have no problem with pets sleeping with me or sitting on my lap. I enjoy playing with dogs and cats and comfortable consoling and calming them. It has been a year since I euthanized my dog who was 12 at the time. I retired in 2010 and it was the first time I was able to spend more time wit Bogie, my dog and Naomi my cat. They were both rescued.
