**SUMMER NOTE - I am typically unavailable for overnights in June, July and August (sorry!)** Hey there! I'm 34 years old and I've had cats all my life and been around dogs almost just as long. I have experience walking numerous breeds of dogs. I live an active life and love walking, playing with, and snuggling dogs and cats. I've done countless overnight and weekend stays for both dogs and cats. I love all animals and I feel like they pick up on my positive and loving energy. I don't believe in dangerous breeds, just dangerous owners who raise them that way. You can rest assured that I will love your animal like my own (which is a heck of a lot)! I'm extremely responsible, punctual, reliable and honest.

I am a very cautious pet sitter, so even if you have a fenced in yard, I will still stay outside with your dog! I love interacting with the animals in every way, playing, petting/brushing snuggling, walking.. whatever that pet likes best! When I'm staying for an overnight, I will be sure to leave your home in the same condition I found it in. I'm extremely clean and have no problem cleaning up after myself and your animal(s). I love getting pictures/videos of my cat when I go on vacation, and am more than willing to send owners photos and/or written updates if requested!

It is important for me to know ahead of time if your animal has any behavioral issues or things to know about his/her mannerisms. It's important for me to know how your dog is rewarded and how often you reward them (food motivated, pet motivated...). I would also like to know ahead of time how he/she is around other adults, children, cats, dogs and if they have any "triggers" (ex. people in hats upset them) or places that they do not like to do/activities they do not like. In order to take the best care of your fur baby, I would love to know as much as I can about him/her in regards to likes, dislikes, allergies, preferences, any unique characteristics or places they like/don't like to be pet/scratched, favorite toys, or if they have any issues I need to be aware of or things I need to pay extra attention to in addition to any medical conditions.
A typical day
I love caring for dogs in a physical and mental capacity. I will take him/her on different routes around your neighborhood to keep them entertained with different sights and smells. I will play with them using a variety of toys or just pet and cuddle with them depending on what the animal wants at the time. Depending on the duration of sitting and comfortability of the owner and size of dog, my favorite place to walk dogs is First Landing State Park!

Availability
I'm currently working elsewhere full-time Monday through Friday, and therefore am unavailable from 530am until 5:00pm. I'm available after work on weekdays and all day on the weekends to give your babies all the love and attention they need! Please note that I am a very organized person and plan ahead in all aspects of my life, so although I am 100% dependable/reliable, I may not always be available for last minute visits. **THOSE LIVING IN THE PENINSULA PLEASE NOTE- since I work in Norfolk, weekday visits/sits in Hampton/NN do not work well. The area comes up in my radius because of where I live, but because of the heavy tunnel traffic it is too difficult to do visits/sits that are Monday-Friday**
