Why I love dog sitting I grew up with dogs. There was never a time we didn't have dogs growing up. I adopted my first dog 9 years ago and volunteered with an animal rescue for about a year before that. My experience administering medication Yes, my own dog often takes pills, ear drops, and eye drops. I work fully from home, so that gives me a flexible schedule. I can keep whatever schedule you prefer. I work 8 to 4, but as long as I'm not in a meeting I can step away for a walk. And there to have petting breaks. I walk them several times a day, always on leash. Based on the weather walk lengths may change. For example, during high temp days, I shorten day time walks and increase evening walks.
