Multi-Pet Owner. I have Fostered Special Needs Dogs including dogs with medical conditions for Local Rescue. Whelped dogs in rescue - raised puppies, including successful potty training. Volunteered with local Bird Rescue (Hookbills) - volunteered at local vet clinic and completed "other duties as assigned" - [cage cleanup - pre and post surgery support - filing, front desk backup, calling owners to remind them of upcoming appointments.] I am currently a Healing Touch for Animals practitioner and have studied health and safety of pets and farm animals in detail. I am the person who remains calm & focused in the midst of chaos - Animals understand this about me and this one trait in particular allows me to work peacefully with pets and their people.

I would like to know the routine that the dog is used to as well as the commands that the owner uses. Do you tell you dog to "go potty" or "do your business?" - Also those important things pet parents know exclusively such as: if I fill the water dish when I drop in... should I only fill it half way because "Buster" always tips it over if it is too full? I do not have any breed preferences.
A typical day
When getting to know your dog, I will initially walk in your neighborhood, as those sights and sounds are what is familiar to them. I enjoy the 30 minute walks as much as the dogs do! Once a relationship is formed, if the owner has other preferred walking locations - I will certainly try those. I have studied Absolute Dogs games for mental stimulation and boredom busting... I have a game a week I play with my dogs to keep things exciting. I will include your dogs in the game of the week when I drop in, or take them for a walk.
