Tail-Wagging Haven: Your Dog's Home Away from Home

Pet care experience

Greetings! As a loving couple happily ensconced in our own cozy abode, we are thrilled to offer a warm welcome to your furry companion! Our home is a haven for animal lovers like us, boasting a decent sized lounge and kitchen where your fur baby can roam to their heart's content. Our expansive backyard, enclosed by tall fences, provides ample space for exploration and play, with convenient access through the patio doors whenever they feel the urge to roam. Rest assured, your cherished pet will feel right at home in our pet-friendly paradise! We are not shy of giving belly scratches on our sofa! We are not shy of playing in the house! We are not shy of going on wet muddy walks! We are committed to ensuring that your fur baby enjoys a comfortable and enjoyable stay with us. As hosts, our only request is that dogs refrain from sleeping in our bed and instead are comfortably accommodated in the kitchen area. Should you have any specific preferences or additional rules you would like us to implement during your pet's stay, please don't hesitate to inform us. Your pet's well-being and happiness are our top priorities. Thank you for entrusting us with their care. <3 PLEASE NOTE: As new parents to a 6-week-old baby, our priority is the safety and well-being of our family. Therefore, we kindly request a meet-and-greet session before boarding your dog to ensure compatibility with our household dynamics. Should we, as parents, determine that your dog may not be suitable for our family environment, we reserve the right to decline the boarding request. While we understand the importance of your pet's welfare, our foremost concern is ensuring a safe environment for our infant. We appreciate your understanding and respect for our decisions in this matter. To ensure we're fully prepared and equipped to provide the best care possible for your pet during their stay, we kindly ask you to complete a brief questionnaire beforehand. This will help us gather essential details and ensure a seamless experience for both you and your furry friend.

Safety, trust & environment

Rest assured, our backyard is securely fenced, providing a safe environment for your pet to roam without the risk of escaping. Our policy is not allowing pets to sleep upstairs. Instead, we have a designated kitchen area for their overnight stay, or we can accommodate your preference by using your crate if requested. Furthermore, since our baby requires nighttime feeds, your dog will receive regular check-ins during these times as I tend to our little one's needs. For example: letting them out to wee, refilling their water etc.

Information Paige T. would like to know about your pet

Please inform us of any special needs or behaviors your dog may have so we can accommodate them accordingly during their stay. Additionally, if you have any specific rules or preferences for your dog, such as not allowing them upstairs or on the sofa, please let us know, and we'll ensure they are followed diligently. Your pet's comfort and well-being are our top priorities.

A typical day

A typical day as a dog sitter is a delightful blend of activities tailored to ensure each furry guest feels loved, stimulated, and well-cared for. The day begins with a cheerful greeting as the dogs wake up to the aroma of breakfast. After a hearty meal, we embark on a morning walk, exploring nearby parks or scenic trails, allowing the dogs to stretch their legs and sniff to their heart's content. Back home, between feeds, its playtime! Whether it's a game of fetch in the backyard, interactive toys, or a session of gentle tug-of-war, there's never a dull moment as we engage in enriching activities to keep tails wagging. After some quality playtime, it's time to unwind. Dogs can relax in their designated cozy corners or on the sofa with us! Towards the end of the day, dinner is served, followed by some quiet bonding time, whether it's cuddling on the couch or gentle grooming sessions. As the day comes to a close, dogs settle into their designated sleeping areas, perhaps with a bedtime treat before drifting off to dreamland, content and loved in their temporary home away from home.
