Pet care experience
I grew up with family labs for most of my life before getting my dream dog, an English mastiff. After graduating college I worked at a doggie daycare for eight months and worked with dogs of all sizes and ages. I’m unable to have a dog of my own now since my husband is very allergic, so being able to walk others’ dogs is great and gives me my dog fix! I also had a family cat for 16 years and have looked after many cats through Rover.

Since I don’t have a dog of my own, your dog will be my only priority during walks. I’m very observant of the surrounding area and will make sure your dog is not eating/picking up anything that they shouldn’t. Since I’ve lived in Fort Lauderdale for 7 years I have great knowledge of the area.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs and/or behaviors and I’ll be happy to accommodate accordingly. As a walker, it is also important to know of any triggers and how a dog will handle socializing while on a walk.
A typical day
I enjoy walking at a quick pace but am sensitive to a dog’s needs and will slow down if necessary. If a dog is feeling playful, I’ll happily spend some time playing with the dog after a walk.

I work full time but working from home allows me to have a more flexible schedule. I can set my lunch break to allow for walks, and am available after the workday.
