A Flagler College alumni with a Bachelor of Arts in sociology and psychology currently enrolled at Jacksonville University getting my Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling, who has a heart full of love when it comes to fur babies (of all types, shapes, and sizes)! I use to spend my free time volunteering at St. Augustine’s SAFE animal shelter weekly with the dogs and cats they have up for adoption there before moving to Jacksonville. I have been babysitting and fostering dogs for as long as I could remember, I’ve always had such a soft spot for animals which means your dog will be in the most loving hands. I live right off Beach Blvd., and would love to take your dog on beach walks to enjoy the open space or just a long walk to burn off some energy! I’m pretty good with last-minute calls and my schedule is somewhat flexible, so we can always discuss a more organized schedule within both of our times to figure a perfect plan out! In addition to dogs and puppies, I am also open to helping take care of cats, kittens, and exotic animals! Growing up, I took care of chicks, bunnies, calves, horses, pigs on the farm that my family owned back in New Jersey. Also, I rescued my first baby, a bearded dragon named Rhaegal, from a family that did not understand how big dragons became, and then I had him for nearly eight years before he passed from old age after a long, happy, and free life! I am also familiar with geckos, frogs, and snakes. So whatever species, breed, type, size your pet is, I am here to help! I do have a dog of my own, and when booking I want to make sure others know this just in case there is an inconvenience of their pup who doesn't necessarily enjoy the company of other dogs! For overnight stays / house-sitting, I do ask if I could bring my pup, but if your pup isn’t too fond with company, that’s completely fine as Oliver can hang back with Dad! He is an 85-pound husky/german shepherd/corgi mix who just LOVES the company of other animals of all types and sizes (even cats, we have two of our own and he adores them). He is a retired service animal currently working on more socialization to become a therapy dog in the future, so I love bringing him around other animals often.
