Pet care experience
I love dogs and grew up with 3 of my own-a black lab, a dachshund, and a shih-tzu. As soon as I moved out on my own, I got my shih-tzu Penny! Penny does not do well with high energy puppies or dogs that really love to play. Penny tends to keep to herself and prefers dogs who do the same. My dogs were/are my best friends and I can't wait to meet yours! I have 18 years of dog-sitting and house-sitting experience. I've dog sat for breeds such as German Shepherds, Labradors, Retrievers, Aussies, Huskies, Pekingese, and many others. I have experience giving medication to senior dogs as well as puppy-sitting. I also have experience with dogs with seizures as well as females in heat. Your pup will have a great time in Magnolia with Penny and I. Penny is great with other dogs and would love to have a friend to play with. Penny gets a walk in the morning and evening and sometimes during the lunch hour and your pup will join us! My goal as a dog-sitter is to make sure your best friend is loved while you are away and feels comfortable and well taken care of. The comfort of your dog is my biggest priority-and they will be loved like my own. I am reliable, organized, punctual, and a great communicator. If you have any questions for me please reach out. I would love to be your new dog-sitter and look forward to connecting with you! I work from home full-time so your pup will get lots of cuddles and walks throughout the day. My daily routine is already catered around Penny so adding your dog into my routine will be great! Your pup will be well loved, cared for, and exercised. I’m a pretty active person and live near the Discovery Park, so frequent walks outside are a guarantee. Penny and I are very active and make it a priority to get outside every day. We love long walks & playing fetch. My home is dog friendly-your dog is allowed on all furniture/rooms and welcome to any toys.

Paige was once again wonderful with our now 13yo dog. This was Maddie's second (longer) stay with Paige, and Paige was so accommodating, understanding, and patient with Maddie's high maintenance and changing diet (for Maddie's sensitive GI. Paige was also super gracious when Maddie had an accident). We also felt completely at ease that Paige would take special care of Maddie's weak back leg. Communication and updates were perfect and much appreciated. Thank you again Paige (and Penny)!

I have a 600 square foot apartment so plenty of space for the dogs to play. I’m a very active person and go on daily walks with Penny. Your dog is allowed on furniture and my bed if they want. You are welcome to bring a crate if they are crated, but I’m okay with leaving them free to roam.

Your dog must be friendly to small dogs. Penny is only 9 pounds and if your dog is high energy and swats/plays too hard with small dogs, I may not be the best fit for you. I have no breed preferences. I do a lot of care for senior dogs. The one thing I like to know about your dog is if there is anything that triggers them on walks (cars, people, squirrels, certain dog breeds)? Also, does your dog sleep on the bed, couch, or a crate?
A typical day
I will walk with your dog until they are tuckered out! Who doesn’t love a day spent at the dog park?! I usually take penny (my dog) on a morning and evening walk and lots of play time and snuggles during the day. If your dog does well at the dog park, I usually go to Magnuson on the weekends to let the dogs run. Frequent walks down the Fremont canal or around the neighborhood are guaranteed. We sometimes go to Greenlake and other parks to get outside. At my house, dogs are like family and I love having them in bed or on the couch with me.

Availability
I work from home full-time so I am home and available during the week and weekends. On the weekends we love going to Greenlake or longer walks. Penny is already a part of my routine so your pup will fit right in! I stay close to home during the weekends and will not accept stays if I will be gone for extended periods of time so your pup will be well taken care of and loved.
