Pet care experience
I'm a pre-vet biology major at the University of Missouri and am interested in Wildlife Conservation and Veterinary Medicine. I love all animals, from dogs and cats to snakes and rats! I have lots of experience with my own cat and dog, and have had experience with animals large and small. I have pet sit cats, dogs, reptiles, guinea pigs, and fish for friends and family. I have also worked at a wildlife rehabilitation clinic where I got experience handling rowdy animals like squirrels, rabbits, opossums, songbirds, and turtles. Whatever you have, I'm eager and ready! I have pet-sit for several friends and family members for years. I automatically treat every pet I meet as one of my own, and will give them unconditional love and cuddles. About my pets: My first pet was a Himalayan rag doll cat, named Fluffy - and fluffy she was. I was in Kindergarten when we got her, and from the start we were inseparable. She slept in my bed every night on my pillow. I laid witness to all her Siamese yowls through the night, which could only be quieted by calling her back to my room. Other than her banshee screams, she was a quiet, cuddly cat and ultimately the reason I got hooked for life on animal care and conservation. As a rescue (from Purrfect Pets in KC), we never knew quite how old she was, and she unfortunately passed away from old age around 2014. Prior to her passing, we adopted a young, playful, Manx to add to the family. He was eager to become the man of the house, and having a male cat for the first time was quite an interesting experience. Today, he is affectionately known around my home as "My sweet baby My", "Spaghetti monster (due to his orange mustache)", "Chunky boy", and "Caterpillar". After much begging, I convinced my parents to adopt a dog as well. Later that year, we adopted Juno, my "sweet baby J", from Unleashed Pet Rescue in Mission, KS. He is a border collie/lab mix, and - though he is now going on 11 years old - has the energy of a newborn puppy! He has pretty severe separation anxiety and loves to be by your side at all times. He also loves walks, going to the park, peanut butter treats, and eating whatever he can find on the floor. I have experience teaching him commands and leash training. I work part time in a wildlife research lab, but I can plan around and will have plenty of time to take care of your pups! One of my biggest pet-peeves (no pun intended) is muddy feet. If coming inside, I will take my shoes off by the door, and I will also clean your pet's paws before coming in from playtime and walks. Your pets, and your home, will stay happy, healthy, and clean!
Reviews
Paige was awesome! We had 3 dogs at home at third time and one is a very picky chihuahua with strangers. He was a bit she for the first couple of visits but then Paige was able to get him to warm up to her! She was awesome and I would definitely recommend her and use her in the future!
Paige did a great job with our dog. She is very passionate about animals, has great personality and is very trustworthy.
Paige was so great with our two dogs! She met them ahead of time, asked great questions and both warmed right up to her. She even sent us pictures of them snuggling right by her while we were gone. Would absolutely book her again!
Paige was awesome!! We loved her and most importantly Ripley did as well! We will definitely be using her help again soon ?

Information Paige S. would like to know about your pet
Every pup has a rich history and personality, so it's important to me to know a bit about your dog in advance to provide the best care I can. Here are things I may ask: - How would you describe your dog's personality? - Are they good on a leash? - How are they around strangers? Other dogs? - Do they have separation anxiety, arthritis, or any other ailments I should be aware of?
A typical day
I love to go on walks on the local bike paths and trails. My own pup, Juno, loves to check out all the smells, so we end up taking the long way home a lot so he can check out any changes to neighborhood! We love to play with tug of war toys and he gets a couple treats a day for doing tricks.
