If you’re looking for experienced, compassionate, reliable care for your four-legged family members, you’ve found it! I’ve been an animal lover all my life & have always had a special bond with them. I grew up with pets and knew that I wanted to work with them as an adult. Many years ago, I started working in an emergency veterinary hospital (while earning my degree in Veterinary Technology). Over the years, I have gained knowledge and experience working in vet. medicine. I’m certified in pet CPR/First Aid. I can administer medications of any type. I have experience caring for all life stages. I’ve cared for young, perfectly healthy pets and I’ve cared for pets with varying special needs and/or medical conditions (special diets, organ dysfunction, diabetes, Cushing’s, dogs with stomas, etc)......and all the pets in between. I’ve cared for a menagerie of animals including pot-bellied pigs, horses and miniature donkeys. Aside from my professional experience, I just love animals. I enjoy giving attention, spending time and just being around them. I treat each pet as I would my own, so you can feel confident in the quality care they’ll receive while they are with me. Every pet is unique and has different needs/preferences. I want those in my care to be safe, healthy and happy. What works best for one pet may not work for others. Playing fetch to the point of exhaustion may be the ideal afternoon for one dog. However an evening of belly scratches while lounging on the couch may be considered the perfect evening for a different dog. Some kitties love to be pet and others prefer that you admire them from a far. I will accommodate my care to the specific needs of pets and owners.
