Pet care experience
I have been pet sitting through Rover for a couple of years now, with some previous experience walking dogs around my neighborhood when I was a teenager. Through Rover I have watched dogs, cats, and chickens with several bookings requiring care of all three. I have experience administering oral medications to pets as well as caring for elderly animals.

I do not currently live somewhere that I am able to have your pets come to my house, but I would love to get to know your pets in their home environment!

It is helpful for me to have a medication list, their preferred meal times and portions (along with whether they are food motivated or not), and favorite treats / toys. I also like to have an idea of their normal schedule - whether they like to go on walks or prefer to relax at home, if they like people being around or are more one-on-one, etc. My priority is making your pet happy and this helps me make sure of that!
A typical day
If your pet enjoys time out and about I would love to take them for a walk or visit a dog park. On nice days (or days where it isn't too snowy!) we could go for a hike as well! I can provide a 30-60 minute walk in the morning and/or evening on weekdays, with time for longer outings or activities on the weekends.

Availability
For an overnight stay at homes within my service radius, I will be at your home from 8p-10a with a half-hour midday visit at the minimum. For homes outside of my service radius, I will be at your home from 8p-9a minimum and likely more than that. However, my ability to come for a midday visit will depend on your location. My work schedule is flexible and many weeks I have the ability to work from home for a few hours of the day several times per week, typically in the morning. I usually work from 10a until 6-7p. For animals with a specific dinner time before 6p, if you are within my service radius, I will be able to leave work to feed them and return again after finishing work.
