Home Away From Home
Pet care experience
Im originally from the east coast as a military brat and am now a veteran. I have my MSW and have done a lot of work in mental health but needing flexibility in my job for my kiddos and husbands schedule. Which is part of why I’ve chosen to watch pups. I grew up helping my parents and grandparents taking care of Rottweilers and our Rat Terrier. I’ve helped friends and family care for their animals (cats, dogs and horses) since 2012. Whether it was watching their dog for a month or just simply taking them for walks during the day. Animals have always been part of our lives.
Reviews
Paige was wonderful. There was seamless communication the entire time. She did an awesome job when updating me during her drop in visits with my two kitties. From the photos she took I could tell they enjoyed her as well!
Paige was great with Gemma and we are thankful she came back happy and in one piece! Paige did an amazing job keeping us updated throughout the day as well
10/10. Paige is awesome!
Paige was great. She treated our pups as her own and provided regular updates. Thank you for taking care of our pups while we were out of town.

Safety, trust & environment
I often have baby gates up during drop off or pick up to ensure other pups do not escape during this timeframe as the door is frequently open. My back gate is pad locked to prevent escaping and theft. I feed all dogs separate for safety reasons. I cannot take dogs that cannot at least coexist with other dogs. I don’t expect them to play but they must be able to coexist.
Information Paige K. would like to know about your pet
Let me know about any medications that will need to be administered. Let me know about any specific types of training you do with your dog so I can utilize those techniques. I need to know if your dog is good with other dogs and children.
A typical day
For mental stimulation, I have puzzle balls that I fill with treats. I throw the toys outside on the longest part of our yard 2 to 3 times a day for 30 min or however long your pup will tolerate. I also run through basic commands of sit and down. I take the pups on walks but do not load them in my car to take them anyway for safety reasons.

Availability
I am home full time and not working any other position. My husband will also help, on occasion, in coordinating pick ups and drop off if needed. This is usually due to me needing to attend medical appointments for myself or the kids but also taking dogs to and from their house for their own stays. In our house, we are relatively structured with feeding, play time, and walks. We have a large yard that the dogs can potty/play in. I have a doggy door that will also allow them access outside when they want but I also prompt them regularly. Your dog will have free range of the house and yard. The doggie door is fun when the pups get zoomies in and out! We have our back gate door pad locked to prevent escaping. We have a 10 foot safety brick wall around part of yard and then a standard 6 ft fence around the rest I care for your dogs and/or cats with love and respect. I do not watch cats in my home but for drop in visits. I like to send pictures and videos throughout the day so you can have an update on your pet. If it’s a busy day, then I will send the updates at the end of the day. Please feel free to reach out if you want additional pictures or videos. Boarding is per dog per night and a 24 hour period. If you drop off at 8 am, pickup will be 8 am. Past this time is a partial or full fee. Doggy daycare is an 8 hour day, after 8 hours are additional fees. Drop ins are 30 minute sessions.
